    I think I know what you mean is.. If you are installing it in windows.. here is the solution for that;

    1. Download J2RE at java.sun.com and install it on your server..

    2. after installing the java add these new variables to windows environment located at START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL, SYSTEMS, ADVANCED tab, ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES, Sytem Environment;

    Variable name: JAVA_HOME
    Variable value: :

    3. Then edit the "PATH" in the System Environment and add these variable at the end part;

    ;%JAVA_HOME%bin

    4. Click ok and then you may Start the installation of Oracle and proceed with the R/3 installation..

    Without knowing any context where this error occurs (only the first one is an error, the second one is just a warning) it`s almost impossible to help you...

    Look into sapinst.log to know what problem happend during installation.
    If you still can not resolve, send the log to me.

    When installing 4.7SAP error is coming at database postload process - sapview. When I clicked retry, the installation process stopped. Then I tried to up the server, it was ok. The server was running continuosly for 2 hrs. Then I installed the GUI and tried to connect, I was unable to connect. Please help me.

    check the installation folder for db installation . check the most recent file and check the log entries.

    it will tell you what it is doing

    if stuck for long time then just stop the installaion and start it again, it will start from the point for failuer

    I am installing 4.7. In the database postload process step, installation stops at `running 1, waiting 0`.Is it  required to run mmc and start the sapserver? CPU and memory resources are not being used. It is running for one whole day now. If anything
    else is required at the final stages please let me know. Please help me.

    hi,

    check if there is enough space for the target location.. what operating system are you using? it can only install in windows servers.. and not on any other operating systems.. please post your OS, DB and the partitioning you used and also the size of your disk,, and what will this be in use?

    Space is not a problem(160gb) nor is the OS as we are installing on Win2k Advanced Server.
