Updated May 18, 2018

Bill of material (BOM)

A list of all of the items that make up a product or assembly. The list is complete for its given purpose, has a formal structure, and states the name, quantity, and unit of measure for each component. I need to maintain BOM for 200 Line Items in a Sale Order by TCode CS61. Each time I have to go to the Sale Order Line Item maintain BOM for that line item and then go to another Line Item to enter BOM. It is very tedious and takes a lot of time. Is there any simpler way ?? Please guide.

The transaction codes CU51 and CS61 have similar functionality. I need to add a BOM to a configurable material in a sales order. I am not able to add in CU51 but able to add in CS61. However, i cannot view it in sales order. Is there a way to see the BOM struture in sales document itself?

You can use EzySolutions, by Gesix, which is a user and process efficiency tool that seamlessly integrates Excel with SAP to download, modify and upload any SAP R/3 data. EzySolutions has a BOM Master Template, which already has a pre-configured sheet that determines what data will be downloaded from or uploaded to SAP. The best thing about it is the template can be customized to fit your requirements. For more information check out http://www.gesix.com.au/
