Difference b/w Year Dependent and Year Independent Fiscal year Variant

Hello Experts,

May I know what is the difference B/W year dependent and year independent fiscal year variant?

Please explain me so i can proceed further.

If you select year dependent check box when we save the fiscal year variant it will ask for the conversion is for which year. If we specify the same the conversion will be done for the same year only. Every year we have to create a conversion. On the same time if we deselect year dependent check box the conversion will be applicable for all year.
