SMTP mail configuration in SAP

Tx. SCOT  -> click on smtp
 

Click on set (internet) and add * in address area


 

Tx.   Scot -> setting -> default domain


 
Give anything in domain

    Hi,
    After i have done these settings in SMTP,which transaction i can use to send mails and see mails on my inbox.please suggest.

    thanks ranjith...i believe my mail server has issues with smtp relay..can u plz tell me what is the SMTP relaying and how to enable that..i've gone thru few sites bit i'm not able to figure out the excat meaning.

    Hi Deepa, try to use the transaction SOST.
    It permit to view email and to force sending them throw the right node.

    hi deepa , to enable sending mail from SAP , i think that you have to configure Mapi Service Provider

    can you send different kind of mail depending if it s internal or external mail ?

    internal mail in TXT
    external mail in PDF
