Tranport Request Ended with return code: 8

hello ,
We are doing transports from DEV to QAS and getting this error message.
Could anyone please let me know why and what would be the solution for the following error message

Hi,
1)this is problem with tp(transport control program),check tp working either correct or not by using rstptest report from SA38/SA38 (or)STMS-->goto-->TP check.
2)If the tp is not working then upgrade the latest kernel.

HI,

Try to find in sapmnttranslogI1234567.(file name is similar as request name).
Or you can enter at O/S command prompt Tp explainrc for tp related errors
Or go under /usr/sap/trans/log and check logfiles for the transport request plus most current SLOG* and ULOG* files

I think the errors may be related to the fact, that you have not configured TMS.

Logon to client 000 and start transaction STMS to configure it properly, then you`ll also be able to see the logs out of SAP without OS access.
