PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
About PI Tech Core DS:
This job belongs to the P&I Tech Core DS ABAP organization under SAP. The Development Support(DS) Team here supports the installed base of SAP products which are in mass shipment. Installed Base Maintenance(IMS) is the custodian of codebase of such products. IMS protects the maintenance revenue of SAP by providing highly efficient maintenance support to all SAP customers and is thus valued as trusted advisor by SAP customers for their business.
About the Job:
As part of Development Support, you will be exposed to SAPs biggest customers and you will support them with technical expertise in the role of Developer/ Senior Developer.The primary objective is to establish you as expert with product ownership in the role of Development Support engineer. You will have to build excellent product knowledge as well as expertise in ABAP and ABAP OO.
You will be working for PI Tech Core DS ABAP which supports SAP's customers for all products in IMS responsibility. Your aim should be to take ownership of your product topics and to deliver the best service to our customers, who rely on SAP as trusted advisor for their business.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
We are looking for colleagues who have willingness to work in a maintenance role, have good analytical and problem solving skills, are team players, have ability to work under pressure, know how to handle critical customer situations and those who are high on performance and Learning orientation. BE/B. Tech/ME/M. Tech/MCA with a minimum of 65%.
High Proficiency in ABAP.
Thorough Knowledge of OO ABAP is required
