Job Description

Skills:-
Primary skills:- SAP HR (all core modules Payroll, OM, PA, TIME, PD, etc.)

Secondary Skills:- Niche skills e.g. Interface, CATS, ESS/MSS, Learning & Development etc.

Role Purpose;-
The role is located in VSSI (Vodafone Shared Services India) Pune within the Project EVO, responsible for providing shared services to operating companies throughout the Vodafone group using SAP applications. Transactional processes are managed for the Hire to Retire process & their respective reporting in HCM.

The resource will provide Functional guidance and solution in regards with the EVO HCM roadmaps

Key Objectives:

To be part of the EVO Application Development team in order to architect the solution design.
Analysis of business requirements.
Design and implementation of full solutions ( Including testing and UAT Support)
Identify integration issues and develop solutions to these issues.
Work effectively with local experts as well as with the business community. 

The HR consultant is expected to help with development aspects relating to Organizational Management, Personnel Administration, Personnel Relations, Recruitment, Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service, Contractor Activity Timesheets (CATS), Personnel Development, Learning & Development, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits etc..

Knowledge of 3rd party tools such as SABA, TALEO Org Plus is an added plus along with interfacing of these tools into SAP.

Key Accountabilities:-

Detailed knowledge of business requirements and solutions in their focus area.
Ability to organize and co-ordinate diverse groups in complex situations.
Broad content experience across multiple lines of business.
Broad technical appreciation - including ALL key SAP functionality and technology.
Manages design workshops on multiple area of expertise

Clarify processes to end users and business stakeholders as required
Provide detailed transactional information to internal and external auditors as required
Provide guidance on technical feasibility and appropriateness of proposed solutions when alternative solutions are available
Establish good relationships with stakeholders throughout the Vodafone operating companies
Work with incumbent SI partners to report and resolve any in-scope development related errors with the HR processes.
Work with HR data owners to fix data issues or to re-assign responsibilities
Can conceptualize and communicate winning propositions - making complex ideas look simple.

Identifying and raising issues to local Business Owners or management to achieve resolution for HR development tasks
Contribute input and coordination to training documentation for HR development tasks
Maintain process documentation for HR processes & tasks

Able to receive feedback/coaching on performance from other members of the team positively.

Desired Profile:-

At least 4-6 years in a HR consulting & implementation role in an SAP environment/client
SAP HR application operations
Org. Management
Personnel Administration
Time & Attendance,
Payroll
Performance management,
Training & Event Management
ESS/MSS
Interfaces etc.
Skills in niche HR modules such as CATS, PD, Interfaces and ESS/MSS are an added advantage
Knowledge of 3rd party tax calculation tools such as SABA, TALEO, Org. Plus is an added plus.
Language skills or project experience outside India - Desirable

Education/ Technical/ Functional Qualifications and/or Professional Certifications:-

Essential:- Graduate/Post graduate in preferably technical or business streams (Engineering/MBA HR/MHRM)

Desired:-Industry preference: Any manufacturing or Telco client having SAP HR installed
Education:UG -B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization 
PG - M.Tech - Any Specialization, MBA/PGDM - HR/Industrial Relations 
Doctorate - Doctorate Not Required
