Applying JAVA patches
The JAVA patches are applied using the SDM tool. The procedure is as follows:
• Login as user sidadm
• Change the directory to F:usrsapsidDVEBMGSxxSDMprogram
• Execute the script ./RemoteGui.bat.
• Login as follows:
• After Login, the following screen is displayed:
• Select the Deployment Tab and you get the following screen
• Click on the Up Arrow at the bottom of the above screen alongside the Deployment Configuration and select the option as follows:
• Select the JAVA patch file to be deployed as follows:
• The following screen is displayed
• Press the Next button
• Press the Next button
• Click on the Start Deployment button
The deployment is then started and the logs are displayed in the above screen on the right hand side.
Once the deployment is over, exit from the SDM.
