How to Change Host name after SAP is Installed?

Hello Experts,

I have installed ecc6 in my computer.But after installation is completed i want to change my computer(system) name.If i change the computer name is there any problem occur.

May i change computer name after installation also.

Dear Raghunatha,

You cannnot change hostname after installation of sap system. Because solution manager key generates from hostname. If u change host name then system will not run...........

If you want to change your Host name then you can perform import - export of sap system.
