How to change or update the license file for RemoteWare?
From the RemoteWare Server menu, go to Server Profile and choose the Licensing tab. Click File, Update. In the Update Licensing dialog, you can either browse to the new license update file (*.UPD file), or, update the license key by entering the update code manually. Click OK to apply the license.
It is recommended to stop and start the RemoteWare Server services on all machines in a RemoteWare Cluster (both Servers and Workstations), this is to ensure the license update is correctly applied.
If it is not possible to change the license file using the method above, try re-installing the server on top of itself.
Stop RemoteWare Server services on all Servers and Workstations prior to renaming these files
Rename the following files: license.dat, license.log and param.dat, for example to license.bak, license.log.bak and param.bak
After re-naming these files, re-install the RemoteWare Server using the new license file.
Always apply any Hot Fixes and/or Service Packs installed previously after re-installing the Server.
