Change Workdays of Factory Calendar

Updated May 18, 2018

Hi Experts,

I am trying to change the workdays of a Factory Calendar. The original workdays of my factory calendar are M, T, W, Th, F (from January 2008 to June 2013). Now, I want to change it to T, W, Th, F, Sa starting July 2013 onwards.

Could you please advise how I can do such customizing? I have tried using SCAL to change the workdays but its applied to all years; thus, affecting my previous years.

Thank you in advance for all your help!

If you need the existing rules to apply in prior years you will need to
    create a new calendar

Thanks Stephen for your response. Would you know the steps I should to be able to create this new calendar? I'm wondering whether there would be any conflicts with my previous calendar.

In SCAL like you were, change mode, and create a new one - of course you
will need to assign the new calendar to the required organisational objects
(like shipping points, routes, wherever you want the new days to apply) -
much like the changes to the calendar though these will apply for all
transactions but presumably if the working week has changed that's fair
    enough.

Perhaps I am missing the point about what you are trying to achieve - in
which areas of the system response do you want the old working week still
to apply? (as I say after all if the new working week now applies it makes
sense it applies to existing data that isn't complete - someone isn't going
to come in and work a Monday just because the transaction was originally
    created before the change)

Use T.code: SCAL, OVR3, OVR4 .....(ALL HAVE SAME SCREENS)
Goto ->OP03 ->Manitain Calander tab ->Slelect your Factory Calander in Change Mode ->Goto Details ->Mark Sunday and monday as HOLIDAY and save .

    OR

select the calender which you want to edit .. and go to change ..

you would get a list of days in which the working days are checked . remove the check from the day you want to make as non working and save ..
