How can the Credit Update be customized in CRM ? .
To activate the Credit Update in CRM you have to use the IMG Customizing
Go to CRM -> Basic Functions -> Credit Management -> Maintain Credit
Group. Here you can switch on the Credit Update for a Credit Group. Using this you make it possible for a credit commitment in the connected accounting system to be updated for a document in SAP CRM.
1. It only makes sense to use this control for document types that are not replicated to SAP R/3, for example contracts and service processes, etc..
2. Once this flag has been switched on in CRM you have to switch off
the flag "Credit active" in R/3 customizing at Sales and Distribution ->
Sales -> Sales Document -> Sales Document Item -> Define Item Categories
and choose the item Category for which you want to switch it off.
3. This Flag/Functionality is available since CRM 4.0
