May I know that how to find how many child tables existing under the parent table?

select table_name from all_constraints where r_constraint_name= (select constraint_name from all_constraints where table_name = 'DEPT');--in place of DEPT use your table name, if the subquery is returning more than one row then use directly your parent table primary key constraint name in place of sub query.
