How can we delete the background job with status ready?

Hi all,

Some of my background jobs is not running but their status is “ready” I try to delete it with transaction SM37 but it is not working.

Pleas help me

    U can do it by scheduling the standard jobs SAP_REORG_JOBS

    go to SM36 [standard job] – [standard scheduling]

    select the job or jobs from the Overview Job list and choose Job-> Check status from SM37 Menu. This allows you to either change the job status back to Planned or cancel the job altogether. This is especially useful when a job has malfunctioned.

    Or u can run the report RSBTCDEL2
