Transaction code SM01 is used for the control of transaction code. From the SM01, you can either lock and unlock transaction codes. This SM01 is not advisable to execute because it can cause inconsistency in users administration.

    1. To lock a transaction code (for example here, ST03) put the transaction code and then press Enter key which lists it in screen. Tick the box of the transaction and chose the button Lock/Unlock to toggle as required.

    Use Sm01
select T.code and click on lock/unlock
It will lock the T. code if it is open and will unlock T.code
    if it is already locked.

    Hi,
You can unlock the sm01, but after if you want to access the tcode how
to do ? I suggest that may be you can remove the Tcode right from user
    roles.

    Thank You.

Hi,   You can not lock SM01 using SM01. better remove it from the user role itself. that is the best you can do. even to someone u need to give SAP_ALL. then just create a role transfering data from SAP_ALL and remove what ever t-codes u do not want to give.

    Hello Everybody,

But how do we remove a T Code from the authorization.

if we assign SAP_ALL then S_TCODE object will have entry *.

Is there any place where we can provide -ve authorizations???

Suppose we should not be assign SAP_ALL to all user, SAP_ALL is only give to SAP Basis administrator. Even end user support also not allow to have this profile for security matter.

    Thank You.
