I have a business requirement to fetch data from sql server 2000 (aging application) which internally has multiple feeds coming at regular intervals (ranging from 4hrs to 24hrs) and load into a new Oracle 11g db schema.
All the individual systems which send data to the sql server db are full loads only means they everytime do a complete refresh (do not have logic to load only delta (changes only)).
Need to understand what may be the best practices in getting the data from sql server to Oracle 11g regularly (at least 3-4 time a day), Cant use Oracle gateways to directly connect to the source sql server as its in really bad shape and the business doesnt want to increase the load on the same.
Also since they don't have delta logic place, Need to implement a delta logic means Insert/Update/delete records in the new schema during load.
Thanks in advance.
