Profit Center is a parallel posting to another object than a cost center. If you use New General Ledger the Profit Center reporting will be done within Fi Reading Out of Fi-documents. Profit Centers are assigned to cost Centers, intenal orders, wbs-Elements and material Masters. Material Masters will Transfer their assigned Profit Center to manufacturing orders and Sales Order line Times. So each posting to These cost Objekts will post to a Profit Center in parallel. The idea of Profit Centers is, to be able for creating Balance sheet and P&L-Statement on other Organisationsleiter Units than Company Codes. Profit Center can structure the market in Main product Sales Lines as Welle as internalisiert structuring. Profit Center structuring can be defined worldwide can get postings out of different Company Codes.
