Milestone billing is used in plant engineering and construction business.
In milestone billing the entire project is divided into several milestones. Each milestone date is blocked for billing, as and when a milestone is completed, billing is carried out with reference to the sales order. The milestone dates and value to be billed for each milestone is set according to rules.
