check your the saposcol is started in your system (you can check with command saposcol -s)

check that the SAPARCH_DEST is set correctly the oracle profiles.

    Hi,
if you must know to archive free space , just you restart
the server, then it will show the free space. Why I tell this, we
face  this problem frequenlty, at this time, we follow this
    solution.

    Hi,

thank you for your quick response.
The problem happens in my Development Server.

i can see my server name through TCode OS07.

after i double-clicked the server name, it showed the details.

i don`t think that my SAPOSCOL is the latest version.
But, i`m sure it should be okay since i have another R/3 server (Production Server) with the same R/3 version, kernel, patches, operating system, and so on.
The only different thing is the hardware.
And my Production Server is able to show the "Archiving Directory Status" correctly.

So, what is the problem in my Development Server ?

    Thank you for helping

try creating the SAPOSCOL destination in AL15 and specify it as your database server

    Hi,

i`m sorry for replying to this message lately.
    the problem is solved now.

it because the IP address mapping in the hosts file refers to the wrong hostname.

    thank you for helping.
