What are the common indicators which signify the occurrence of DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR or ORA-14400 error?
How can I get this error resolved?
Thanks in advance.
The common pointers which indicate the occurrence of DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR are as follows:
If the ORA-14400 inserted partition key is not mapped to any kind of partition.Occurrence of error at the instant of the insertion to PSA or F-Fact tables.Failing of the PSA loads. When it is unable to activate DSO.At the time of the Activation job BI_ODS…..dumps
The above mentioned indications are found due to the occurrence of error under the environment of SAP Business Warehouse (BW). A contradiction in the partition numbers for the PSA, basically results in the integration of this error.
The data load or the DSO activation fails due to the following contradiction:
A system displays the ORA-14400 error message, when the data needs to be loaded into a partitioned table in which the partitions are not correctly defined. The data gets saved in different parts by the partition table, where all kind of dataset that depends upon the distinct partitioning key is assigned to one of these parts. At this stage the partitioning key, which is a specified value is achieved. The performance is considerably improved by the table which is being partitioned, depending upon the single partitions that are present on different hard disks.
The solution is given by the correction program in Transaction Code RSRV, for which the following steps need to be followed:
