Prob in transport

Dear Experts,

I am facing problem in transport.

From DEV to QAS its workin fine.

When importing on Prduction, the TRUCK symbal got hangs, but when I delete entries from TRBAT tables, its got complete & in logs there is not any entry while expanding "+" symbol of "Import steps not specific to transport request"

And for all new requet the same problem occers & I have to manually delete entries from TRBAT table.

Pls. provide solution...its urgent.

tx sm30 --> trbat --> change mode & delete...

If your problem is still there. you can check that there is a background job " RDDIMPDP ".
Is it canceled or successfully completed. If it is canceled then this will be the reason for truck hanging. Find the reason for this job canceled. If it is ok then send the log file for transport request here.

check the table TRBAT and TRJOBS delete the enrty from Oracle

i hv already checked this job...this job is showing in ready status only....but when i triggered in client 000 with ddic user it gets finished but still there is entry in trbat table.

The situation was happening with me also, kindly ensure following:-

1)There are sufficient space available of harddisk

2)I hope u r deleting all entries from TRBAT and TRSTAT table

1.Execute “SE16”

2.type “TRBAT” in table name and press enter.

3.in next screen press execute icon.

4.now it will show the locked entry in horizontal line.

5.double click that entry

6.now it will show the entry in vertical manner.

7.now in tcode field type “/h” and hit enter.

8.ABAP debugger will be opened.

9.Here find the block which is similar to

If code=”show” then
------------------
else if code=”-----“ then
-------------------
1.Now press F5 until you are at the line just below “If code=”show” then” line

2.Now double click the word “code”.

3.In the right pane of the debugger it will show “code” and its value as ”show”

4.Next to “show” there will be a pencil icon.

5.click it and then change “show” to “dele” and hit enter.

6.Now press F8.

7.system will take you out from ABAP debugger and will show you the vertical display of the lock entry in SE16.

8.Here at top corner “Delete Entry” button will be present.

9.Click it and then the entry will be deleted.

10.Follow the steps from 11 to 28 for table “TRJOB” as well.

11.Now go to OS level.

12.go to /usr/sap/trans/tmp

13.delete “slog” file..

14.Now execute the transports. Problem is resolved.

go to SM30 --> put table trbat,trjob maintain it
delete the entry ur problem get solve

The RDDIMPDP event and job related to triggering the transport need to be checked, Which infact plays the role when importing the transport. The import truck hangs because of the RDDIMPDP job not running or getting cancelled.

If your problem didn't resolve till now, Can u send the log file here ?
Process to get log file--Goto to AL11 > go to usr/sap/trans directory > go to log directory >
search the transport number only like 123456 > double click on this. import this in system & send here.

the main filesystem (/sapmnt/SID) on < SID > may be it run out of space overnight,Which meant no jobs could run.

Please increase the space and check for the jobs are running!!

Please check the transport now.

thanx for reply...but there is not any prob of space, bcoz all the jobs are runnig, and even transport is also possible by deleting the entries from TRBAT table manually.

Recently I faced similar problem in QAS server. When we checked this there are some transports are still runnning (those you can see from ST07 t.code), For such transport request PIDs you can find from Ux by using
ps -ef | grep tp
then you kill one by oney process by using
kill [process no.] -9.

& Delete the request from transport queue.

I did like this, my problem got solved.
