If you are a project manager without a PMP certification, how do you feel that has held you back? Do you think it's made any major impact on your career?
If you started your career without one, how did it change after getting the certification?
I cannot think of one person that is responsible for hiring that doesn't look at education and certifications when making hiring decisions. So yes, it has an affect. But, don't lie about it. If you have a diploma or cert, list it. Also, when it comes to promotions, continual education and certifications count.
