What is valuation class, valuation area, valuation modifier, material master?
What is difference between valuation class, Valuation area and Valuation modifier?
Thanks in advance
Valuation Area = It is a level where you need to value the material. It is at Plant Level or Company Code level.
Material Master = It is the master of Material code where we come to know the definition of Material.
Material Type = It is melaintained in Material Master. It is the type of Material. I.e., Raw Material, Finished Material etc...
Valuation Class = It is 5he combination of Plant and Material Type. It is useful for GL Mapping. If same Material Type is in different Plants and if we want to assign same GL Code then we can use Valuation Class.
Valuation Modifier Group = When you want to assign Movement Type wise different GL for same Transaction Key, same Material. You can map through Valuation Modifier Code.
