SAP HANA db: Connection timeout if there are more than 1000 connections opened.

A connection timeout occurs when connection to the SAP HANA database if there are more than 1000 connections opened.

Due to a to tight connection timeout a connection timeout can occur if there are more than 1000 connections opened.

Prerequisites:

    1. SAP HANA database lower than Revision 24

    2. Over 1000 connections opened

    3. A new connection attampt receives a connection timeout

    4. In the indexserver alert trace there are the following entries:
    e Row_Engine  msglog.cc(00057) : timeout due to no incoming message (at ptime/session/sm_handler.cc:130)

In Revision 24 the default connection timeout was increased and the waiting logic was refined to fix this problem.
