In this training you will be guided through the SAP Solution Manager with CRM 5.0 content. The tutorial consists of the following steps:

There are 2 ways to set up a project. The first is to use the web-based Project Step Wizard with the transaction “AI_SPS-Project Step: Quick Start”. Double click on the transaction coad.

The other way of setting  up a project is to start the transaction “SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN”. Double click on the menu entry “Project Administration”.

To start to create your own project click on the “Create Project” button.

Enter the name of your project –in our case “CRM_Impro” – in the Project field and press the Tab button.

You have to recalculate the Percent Completed. Double- click  in the field “Completed” to initiate the new calculation derived from the maintained PD.

The “Save” button has triggered the “Enhancement for Documents” dialogue window. Confirm the document Enhancement for all documentation stored in the local Knowledge Warehouse by clicking the “Continue” button .

Click on the Tab “Roadmap Select” in order to Select  a roadmap.

If there are various roadmap versions available, always check for the latest version. For this project, choose the most current version of the implementation roadmap, here “ASAP Implementation”.

Also note, that Implementation Roadmap (V <xx> ) are the predecessor versions of the predecessor versions of the current Implementation Roadmap (V <xy>).

Now go to the “Project Team Member” tab.

On the “Project Team Member” Tab you can assign Project team members  according to your project team. Enter “dor_ac” as the assigned name of the project member in the Project Member column.

You can use the possible entries help to fined and  assign employees you have already entered in user administration.

Notice that additional data for those team members that have already been entered in user administration are automatically set. Scroll down to continue.

Tick the field to lock structure elements for editing for those team members that are not explicitly assigned to a structure element, such as certain business processes, in Business Blueprint (SOLAR01) and Configuration (SOLAR02).

We assume that team member “SOLTEST07” was called up for another project, thus has to be replaced by somebody  else in the current project. Please mark the project team member “SOLTEST07” to replace him.

Select “SOLTEST02” as the substitute.

 

 

 

Replace Assigned Members

Click check mark to confirm.

Now the team member “SOLTEST07” has centrally been replaced with the team member “SOLTEST02”.

This replacement was done in all structure nodes assigned to the “Administration tab” in SOLAR01/02 and automatically changes person responsible on the “Configuration tab” and “Development tab” click on “System Landscape” tab.

On the “System Landscape” tab you define all the components, products and systems that are part of your project. To assign local components, select F4.

 

 

 

 Expanded the SAP CRM node.

 

 

 

 Tick the box to choose the CRM Server.

 

 

Additionally, select the three CRM components CRM IPC, CRM Mobile Client and CRM TREX.

 

  

Transfer the selection into your project via the “Continue” button.

The logical components are now assigned to your project. Save your settings with the “Save” button.

To trigger the generation of the corresponding IMG projects in the satellite system, click on the “IMG Projects” tab.

Mark the line in order to create the project IMG from the SAP Solution Manager in the corresponding development system.

Click on “Create IMG Project”.

Parallel to the generation of IMG projects, transport requests will be created automatically in the satellite systems having the correct project assignment in place. Confirm with “Yes”.

 

 

 

 

Display: Project CRM_IMPRO: CRM Implementation Project

Notice the IMG project that was created in the satellite system, by default with the same name as the SAP Solution Manager project Click on “Back” to return to Project Administration.

The IMG project was successfully distributed in to the development system which is symbolized by the green icon. Click on the “Miletones” tab to continue.

The milestones are generated automatically, only if the ASAP Implementation Roadmap is chosen where they are maintained. In all other cases the milestones can be some data for the time span are already maintained.

Click on the “Organizational Units” tab to go on.

In the “Organization Units” tab you can enter organization unit time zone. For simplification reasons those data have already been maintained in this tutorial. Go to the tab “Project Standards” to continue.

On the tab “Keyword”, keywords for the project are defined which can be assigned alongside the project structure in Business Blueprint (SOLAR01) and Configuration (SOLAR02) transactions, to further classify structure nodes and documentation.

They can be reported on the Project Reporting (SOLAR_EVAL) transaction.

On the tab “Documentation Types” scroll down.

Click “Project template” to maintain project templates. The dialog box contains standard lists of status values, keywords and documentation types. All sorts of templates created here can be assigned and reused by all projects:

Shown here are documentation types with or without template. The customer can either create new template or enhance predelivered templates for SAP.

 

 

Scroll to the right.

 

 

Notice that you can assign a status schema to documentation types. Within a status schema you can define  the status values and their sequence, according to which a certain document should be processed, such as In Process-> In Review-> Released. Click the “Close” button.

Click on “Exit” to finish the Project Administration and to return to the SAP Easy Access.

 

 

Business Blueprint-SOLAR01

The next steps provide an insight into the transaction SOLAR01 where the following activates are covered.

Double click on “Business Blueprint” to start the transaction SOLAR01 where you can document the business process that you want to implement in the system.

The tile bar tells you which project has been loaded. You can switch projects with the “Other Project” button , highlighted by the red box. Then you can create a project structure in which relevant business scenarios, business process and process steps are organized in a hierarchical structure.

To continue, click on “Business Scenarios” folder.

On the “Structure Tab” put the cursor in the empty Business Scenario row use the F4 Help Function to make re-use of predefined SAP Implementation Content stored in the Business Process Repository (BPR).

 

 

Click to expand the mySAP CRM node.

 

 

Select the highlighted Business Scenarios from the BPR Selection Help by clicking in the blue boxes.

 

 

 Confirm the choice of the scenarios that you want to use in your project.

On the “Project Documentation” tab, we will insert a project specific documentation. Create a new document by clicking on the “Insert Document” button.

A last step we are taking is to generate a Business Blueprint Document. To do so, choose Business Blueprint-Generate Blueprint Document.

 

 

Flag to include the graphics of scenarios and process in to your Business Blueprint Document.

 

 

Define the directory path for the Blueprint Document and click on the icon “Execute”.

 

 

Enable Macros.

 

 Within the document. Choose Tools-Macro-Macros.

 

 

Click on “Run”.

 

 

 Here you can see the generated Business Blueprint document. Click on the highlighted icon in the upper right coner to exit.

The next logical step alongside the implementation approach would be the testing of the implemented solution. Click on the “Test Casestab to proceed.

In the dropdown list you can choose between different test cases (CATTs, eCATT, manual test cases) which you can assign alongside your project structure. Press enter to continue.

 

 

Testing-Process in Detail

These test cases together with the project structure are used as an infrastructure for the generation or process-oriented test plans.

The test plan is broken down into various test packages which can then be assigned to individual testers who perform the testing based upon the assigned tester worklist (s).

The test execution can be controlled anytime by the test organizer using test analysis and reporting tools.

Firstly, reporting options with respect to documents and links that are available for the Business Blueprint Phase. This includes reports on links, assigned to documents on Attributes in SOLAR01 and SOLAR02 and considers all types of KW documentation, including test case documents.
