How to use the spelling check implemented in SAPGUI 6.10.

1. Introduction

Using the customizing menu "Spelling Check" of SAP Frontend, you can
check the spelling of the texts you input before you save them.
Anytime you want to a spell check, just click on the three color circle customizing button and Spelling Check.
The spelling check itself is done by Microsoft Word and SAP Frontend
displays the result of it on the status line.
This functionality is available from SAPGUI (for Windows) 6.10.

2. Target input field/area

The spelling check is done for the texts on the following GUI

Read-only field and combo box (input field with an arrow button)

  it is a foreign product.

3. System requirements

Microsoft Word (at least Office 97) must be installed.

This functionality is independent of R/3 release, as the spelling
check is done on SAP Frontend side.

4. Language of the texts

The language of the texts is decided by Microsoft Word. According to
the version of Word, it is detected automatically or the current
language setting of Word is used.

The language key of R/3 has no meaning in this case.
