    Hi,

Check the how many user are logged into SAP system using tx sm04 and sm50 how many dialog process are free and check sm37 background jobs.
    check st02 buffer's.

    Hi,

If I am in your shoes I will follow this path,

Important to know when this problem has started? did you change some static parameters lately? if so then put back the SAP recommended parameters for SAP memories. Analyze the entire SAP memory structure.

    1. Check SM50 - how many user are looged on
    2. Check SM63 - to check your settings for operational mode setting. this way you can determine at what time of the day you get this problem
    3. If posible increase the dialog W/P there for day time and reduce the B/G W/P
    4. Reducing the B/G W/P this can be done only after checking the SM36 background job verification.
    5. Check the ST03N to for dialog W/P detailed analysis for last minute load under expert mode. and try to make some some sense what could be the reason.

    6. Last resort is to add application server to meet the system demand.

    Hi,

Can you please tell me where did you check it ST06 ( operating system Analysis) or ST02 ( Tuned buffer for sap memory)
seems like it is related to your physical memory setup but just let me know where are you hecking page in and page out. could be expensive sql statements running, reading directly from database rather then buffer or might need to build indexes. could be several reasons but please check these first.
