Client Copy Transport request stuck up?

Hi,

I was doing client copy using SCC8 from Prod to Dev Server, total size of request file is 5 GB, while Importing request thru STMS, import stopped due to low space for log file in Development server.

 

Import Request in STMS are stuck up with “truck” icon. Deleting and re-importing request does not start the import process.

 

Suggest the way out.

    1. Try making some space by taking a backup of the oraarch.
    2. delete all old spool logs to make some space.

    Hi,
    First check space on server oracle/SID/saparch if it is full then need to start redo log/archive backup.
    If transport is stuck then check:
    - Import queue -->goto -->tp system log
    here check transport status is start/stop.
    - If it start then no problem, but if is stop then go to
    - Import monitor --> under exceution select request and right click and delete entry.
    - Then go to SM30 enter TRBAT & TRJOB tables there shouldn't be any entry, if there is any entry in these tables then delete entry.
    -Then re-import transport request.& monitor tp system log.

    Hope this will solve your problem.

    After removing entry from TRBAT & TRJOB, I was able to re-import request.
