You want to create conditions with reference using transaction MEK4. After you have entered the condition type and the relevant data on the selection screen, you branch to the overview screen of the conditions. On this screen, if you now click on icon 'Copy condition', the system generates error message 'Copying is incomplete because no rules have been defined'.
You cannot maintain the copying rules for copying conditions in the Customizing as such a menu option is not provided there.
However, you have the option to maintain the copying rules directly with Transaction SM30.
The relevant tables (Views) are 'V_T688K' and 'V_T688'. Table 'V_T688K' corresponds to the copying rule menu option 'Copying Rule for Condition Types' from the Sales and Distribution Customizing, table 'V_T688' corresponds to the menu option 'Copying Rules for Conditions'.
In order to make the entries, start Transaction SM30; You can make new entries using the 'New Entries' pushbutton.
In the same way, proceed for view 'V_T688'.
As far as the entries themselves are concerned, you can use the Customizing settings of sales and distribution as an example which can be found in Customizing under 'Sales and Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Pricing -> Copy Control For Conditions'.
For the entries in view V_T688, in addition, a program must be specified which carries out the copying of the conditions. As these programs for the purchasing are available first as of R/3 Enterprise, you must create these by yourself. Report 'RV15CC01' can be used as a template. There you also find more information on the adjustment of the report.
As of Release R/3 Enterprise (4.7) the function is contained also in the standard of the purchasing.
If you want to have the function of R/3 Enterprise also for your release, this can be implemented using SAP Consulting purchased separately.
