There is a new sapstartsav process that is started and it gets activated for each instance of SAP but even after stopping the instance it remains activated.
When 7.0 was released it was designed for all the operating systems. It acts as a daemon tool for operating systems like Windows and Unix. The instances that are included in SAP are administered by this and it starts when the operating system is turned on. Start service in Unix is integrated as a script that is "sapinit". In windows the sapstartsrv is a fixed part and at the time of starting it refers the startup profile and opens the service on sapctrl. After this process the service waits for the requests of web service and after receiving the requests are processed. The new services are secure and manage SAP instances effectively.
