Hi I get this error msg when adding an inventory in a database with multiple branches enabled.
Multiple branches are enabled. (Administration -> System Initialization -> Company Details -> Basic Initialization tab)
I got this error when
1. In the Inventory Transfer window, in the From Warehouse field, select warehouse 01.
2. In the Inventory Transfer window, in the To Warehouse field, select warehouse 02.
The document is not added because you are issuing from branch A and receiving into branch B. The system displays the error:
Warehouse is not assigned to the same branch as the document [Inventory Transfer - To Warehouse Code] , 'XX' [Message 1320000747-11]
The issuing and receiving of goods between branches that do not share the same warehouse must be done through marketing documents.
For example, add a delivery for warehouse 01 in branch A and via 'Duplicate To' create a goods receipt PO for warehouse 02 in branch B.
