Device registration is successful but after that I get 'invalid user name and password error' ?

There can be various reasons for this type of error. Following can be one of the reasons :
a> In the Application Connection Template on SUP server, check if synchronization server host IP is maintained and if synchronization server port is correct. (For checking the port information, open SAP Control Center. Localhost -> Configuration. Go to tab 'web container' and check the port for protocol HTTP or HTTPS).
b> Check if the ping to backend works fine in the CONNECTIONS part of the DOMAIN.
c> Check if the user name and password is correct.
d> Check if there is any RFC exception in server log or Dump in backend CRM system for the logged in user (transaction code ST22).
e> Check if there is any mobilink errors. Some of the common mobilink errors are mentioned below:
i) error code = 63. This means that the server host IP is not accessible. Check the server host IP and correct it in Application Connection Template.
ii) error code = 263. This mean that there is problem in the public key. Check and correct the key in the server.
