We are creating a prompt based WebI report and select 'Refresh on open' while saving this report. After run this report from the saved location It will ask for the prompt values. We have schedule this report and remember the prompt values. Now when we double click on the original report and it will open the latest scheduled instance.
You are having this issue because by default "View Latest Instance" is selected as the Smart View property for "Web Intelligence" Application.

You can modify this behavior by changing the Properties of Web Intelligence Application from CMC by performing following steps:
- Logon to CMC >> Applications >> Web Intelligence
- Go to properties and choose "View Object" for the "Smart View" property.
