What are Global Constants in SAP?
A global constant in SAP is a literal value that users assign a value, for example, a global variable, a user can access the value of the global constant from any script or 4GL procedure in the application.
How to Define Global Constants in SAP?
Please follow the step below to define the global constants of the WBS element:
Enter t-code SPRO in the SAP command field and press Enter to execute.
Now on the next screen click the SAP Reference IMG button.
Next, go to the following SAP menu path:
SPRO > IMG > Extended Service parts Planning > Monitoring > SPP Alert Monitor > Maintain Global Constants

Next on the Change View "SPP ALert Monitor Constants": Overview screen, you will see the list of the previously defined Global Constants on your SAP system.
Next click on the New Entries button to define a configuration for new priorities for WBS elements in your SAP system.
Now, fill in the following details for the new Priorities as shown in the image below:
- Constants: Enter a unique keyword to represent the new global constants
- value: Enter a value for the new constants
Once all the details are entered click the Save button at the bottom to save the new configuration.

Next, select your Customization Request id and press Enter to proceed.
A message Data was saved will be displayed on the bottom of your screen.
You have successfully defined a new Global Constraint in your SAP system.
