How to configure the P4S port with Solution Manager 7.2?

While switching the Diagnostics Agent to MS/P4S it switches automatically back to the previous setting.I cannot configure the Diagnostics Agents in order to use the MS P4/SSL option

In order to regenerate the issue please do the following:

  • First Log on the Solution Manager
  • Then go to the Agent Administration
  • Now switch the Diagnostic Agent to use MS SSL/P4S
  • The Diagnostic Agent switches back automatically to its previous setting

    In order to have Diagnostics Agent using the P4S port, the P4S port must be enabled and configured on the Solution Manager's Java server first:

    1. Configure the Solution Manager's Java stack for SSL
    2. Set up the P4S port and P4SEC protocol

    • The P4 / P4S ports are configured as 'Trusted Ports' in the case of Solution Manager 7.1. 
    • Where in the case of Solution Manager 7.2 a full Certificate Authentication for the Diagnostics Agents has been implemented
