What is the purpose of the batch job REFRESH ADMIN DATA FROM SUPPORT?
This job reads information of various categories from the SAP Support Portal and saves these informations locally in Solution Manager, which includes:
1) Number of SAP Customer
If for instance, you are value-added resellers or customer centers of expertise, this report downloads the customer numbers and their other information which have a relationship (VAR or CCC) with your customer number in SAP backbone. This data is saved to view V_AISAPCUSTNOS.
When the generation of business partner is enabled, REFRESH_ADMIN_DATA_FROM_SUPPORT generates Business Partners of organizations for the corresponding customer numbers. Therefore the customer names are maintained in the business partner by this batch job.
2) Installation numbers of the systems and their short synopsis
If for instance, you are value-added resellers or customer centers of expertise, this report download the installation numbers and their information which have a relationship (VAR or CCC) with your customer number in SAP backbone. The data is saved to view V_AIINSNRS.
3) Licence data
The licence data of the system (such as SID, installation, system number, message server, product version, system role) under the above installation get saved in LMDB. The user can see them via t-code LMDB > Technical Systems > Downloaded License Data in SAP Support Portal.
