Why Some of the Targets Status showing as UNKNOWN In Oracle Grid Control.

Hello Experts,

In oracle grid control, some of the targets status showing as UNKNOWN. If i go inside, it's giving the message as "The agent of this target is unreachable." for some targets and "Target is temporarily in status pending state".

How to track this error? Team, please help on this.

Please check your nohup.out file from the agent side. As its a typical case when Agent is not communicating with your most and hence reported in the "Unreachable" stage.
You dont need to figure it from log that why its happening. gcagent.log will have sufficient info if that is not saying anything than the first thing you should try is to secure your agent by emctl command and you may get some information that what is happening in terms of communicatin.
Let me know further the status of your agent.
