To maintain inventory & inventory accuracy and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items; securing warehouse; supervising staff, co-ordination between Client and team and ensuring the System (SAP) is updated for all the activities in a timely manner.
Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory movement for Quality Check / Line Feed and Disposal with related departments.
Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
Secures warehouse by turning alarms on; testing systems.
Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
Focus on HSE practice by Blue Collars.
To handle all warehouse activity responsible for daily dispatches & inwards Maintain physical & system stock records Maintain goods challan, both inward & outward.
Monitor daily operations of warehouses, against SOPs and service levels agreed between Company and Customers and monitoring the performance levels of Warehouses
MIS Reports creation &- Monthly, Fortnightly, Weekly and Daily
Presentation to the Customer on the deliverables and on the progress of the project
Conduct period audits of stock levels at warehouses to ensure high level of stock accuracy
To take the new Initiatives, Safety and Kaizen at all Warehouses
Responsible for safety, security of warehouse
Experience of SAP for MM module and also PP ( preferred).
COORDINATION WITH TRANSPORTERS FOR DISPATCHES - Transit-time monitoring to ensure on time deliveries, Ensuring availability of vehicles.
Responsible for verifying Bill of entry , Invoice , packing list and prepare Good Receipt Note in the computer system (SAP Environment).
