Is there any difference between SAP GUI for Window and SAP GUI for Windows for S/4 ?

With regard to their content, all versions of SAP GUI for Windows 7.40 and SAP GUI for Windows 7.40 for S/4 as of 7.40 Compilation 2 are completely identical. The separation of the delivery objects was performed in order to prevent the download of older versions.

As of SAP GUI for Windows 7.50, the component "SAP GUI for Windows for S/4" is no longer required. Regardless of the used SAP product, you can use the component "SAP GUI for Windows", so follow the path "By Category" -> "SAP Frontend Components" -> "SAP GUI for Windows" -> "SAP GUI for Windows 7.50 CORE", for example.
