Automatic Transfer Order for Production order Goods Receipt

Updated May 19, 2018

We have configuration setup and working for the automatic creation of TO for Production order GR.

This is working for the majority of our parts. For part number A, it was working until September of last year. Looking at MB51 I could see the flag set for each goods receipt thru August of 21012.

I could see that there was a timestamp change on the routing in the same time period, but I can't see what changed. Any ideas of what in a routing could cause this to stop happening, or anything else that could be overriding the Auto Creation?

Thanks

    Hi,

I would look at the control key for the last operation on the routing. Then check the config for that control key via transaction OP57. Possibly either the config was changed for that control key to no longer execute an automatic goods receipt or more likely the control key for the last operation was changed to a control key that doesn't execute an automatic goods receipt.

    Thanks

I looked at the last operation control key. It is PP01. I checked the last control key for an item that does the GR correctly, and that also has a PP01.

Check the settings for the Production GR movement type.

Check the production storage location for the material is still aiming to a WM managed storage location.

The Production GR movement type is 101. That is what is being used for one that is still working. I am not sure where to look for the second comment. Are you talking about LPK2?

Yes sure GR its 101 IM-wise, but then you have your WM-IM interface , so the corresponding WM movement type maybe defined as 131, 103 or whatever is set at your system... and into this you can specify the auto TO creation flag set. See transaction OMLR

Check movement type (131 or 103 or whatever defined for Production confirmation) under Logistics Execution - Warehouse Management - Activities - Transfer - Define Movement Types

Then also check production Storage location in material master (MM03) if it is a Slocation which is assigned to a WM warehouse, it will create a WM movement otherwise you will only get IM 101. This production slocation can be also defined in the production Version for the material.

    hope this helps
