PA03 Record Exit

Dear All,

I did a big Mistake in PA 03 Control Record.

I have did Live payroll to the employees and I dint Exit the payroll for the month.

So when I try to exit the error msg was Payroll is not run success for all personal numbers.

Then I did live post once again and exit the past month posting.

Now I done the process for Current month, there is an some balance recovery amount is deducted to the employees.

Please tell me how to balance this problem.

    Delete the current payresult using Tcode Pu01,Recreate the payroll control
    record and then post it again with Type of document created as 'P' and then
    post the result

    * Pls note that you cant post to FI unless the payroll control record
    status is in exit mode.

    Hi,

    Cross check that before and after the posting run any master data is changed for the employees. Actually system will not allow you to run the live run with out control record. check it in PCP0 for past month live run and test run is there or not ? With status symbol P & S.

    It is very much help full if you provide with some examples of the deduction in the present payroll run.

    When you carry out a payroll run, the system automatically changes the payroll status in the payroll control record. You can also change the status manually under Payroll -> Tools -> Control Record.

    When you create the control record in your live system, the payroll period that you enter at the start of the live payroll run must be 1 period lower than the period with which you want to perform the live payroll run for the first time.

    Example

    You want to carry out the first payroll run in period 8 1990. In the payroll control record, you must enter 7 1990 as the period. If you set the payroll control record for the first payroll run to status Released for Payroll, the system increses the period by 1 and payroll is run for period 8 1990.
