I have a typical db where in salary of employees is being calculated, rescently a user dropped a table (backup of table was taken & then was dropped), which had lead to ORA 08103, we recreated the table & is fine but when the processes are run, they ran but there are other issues, temp tables are created while processes are run & are dropped after completion of process.
the primary table(otable) had issue(was not allowing to create primary table, after successful creation of primary table we tested for dummy table, this too got created)
the problem now is
1) when the process was run, it runs about 95% & stops for a few entries(about 5-10 employees) then the user runs process for employees excluding those 10 employees & code runs successfully.
2) the temp tables are not getting created ie; when processes are run it creates temp tables and drops them after using.
i need to get root cause, i have a doubt (for 1 issue) data might be corrupt, dbv dint show up any corrupt blocks as no RMAN backup is taken cant check logical corruption... also there is no entry in alert.log nor select * from bkptable gives any block corruption.
will looking into the process code help anything? or should i check for permissions on the table(otable) or where i need to check....i am not able to diagnosis this issue...
any help would be greatly appreciated.
