How to restart a terminated client import?
SOLUTION
If an import of a client transport request gets terminated, the changes have still not yet been made in the client and also the post processing has not been started for that transport request.
Then please follow the steps below in order to restart transport request:
1) First in the Import Monitor please delete the terminated transport requests.
2) Now restart the transport request without unconditional mode 1 via tp command: tp import <SId>KTnnn clientxxx <SID> u8 pf=<DIR_TRANS>/bin/TP_DOMAIN_<Domain SID>.PFL.
3) The STMS imports automatically set U18 for client transports which now cannot be used to restart a terminated client import.
If there are many requests created in the import overview, such as
- <SID>KOnnn - Client Independence Object,
- <SID>KTnnn - Client Dependence Object,
- <SID>KXnnn - Text
Then, in this case, please restart these transport request with same tp command in the sequence(<SID>KOnnn, <SID>KTnnn, <SID>KXnnn).
