    Hi Beginner,

    Say I created Role 'Z_TEST1', Role 'Z_TEST2' and 'Z_TEST3' using 'PFCG' T-Code

    And I maintained the Hierarchical Relationship like below,

    Z_TEST1 ---> Z_TEST2 ---> Z_TEST3.

    Z_TEST1 (Master Role of Z_TEST2 intern Z_TEST3) -->

    Z_TEST2 (Derived Role from Z_TEST1 and Master Role of Z_TEST3) -->

    Z_TEST3 (Derived Role from Z_TEST2).

    If I try to delete inheritance relationship of Z_TEST2, it won't. This is the ERROR!!

    Cause:

    Because Z_TEST3 dependent on Z_TEST2.  Z_TEST3 Role will have inherited authorization and properties both from Z_TEST1 and Z_TEST2.

    Resolution:

    Delete the inheritance relationship of Z_TEST3 and then you can delete.

    Thanks,

    Santhosh

    Please check table AGR_DEFINE to check if you have created derived roles with "DERIVEDROLE" as a parent.

    Then delete relationship from them. After then only you'll be able to delete relationship between DERIVEDROLE & TESTROLE01.

    Hi,

    first  copy the parent role to another role, after delete menu of the derived role , now it allow to break the relationship , ie delete the previous master role and  at that place assign the new copied role from master role. from that assisgn menu, and  maintain authorizations for derived ole once again

    if any mistakes ..dont consider.
