What information does the file knldump provide and when is it used for analysis?
Thanks in advance.
The file knldump is located in the run directory of the database.
The file knldump contains the dump of the global memory of the database kernel. A knldump is written for an emergency shutdown of the database, for example.
The database tool knldump is used to analyze the file X_DIAGNOSE. It helps with the detailed analysis of error situations that result in an unscheduled shutdown or crash of the database.
Normally, only the SAP MaxDB development support team analyzes knldump .
