Native filter does not support optional prompt, although it is possible to define native filter with optional prompt in Information Design Tool (IDT)
Error occurs when running query with this native filter in IDT
=>Error message: "Error executing the query. Failed to execute runnable (java.lang.NullPointerException)"
Error occurs when running a Web Intelligence document off this universe with this native filter.
=>Error message if the database is access:
Database error: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression ''.。（IES 10901） (WIS 10901)
=>Error message if the database is Oracle:
Database error: ORA-00936: missing expression. (IES 10901) (WIS 10901)
This issue has been identified and logged under Problem Report ID ADAPT01699435, but it is rejected by developers because optional prompts are not supported in native filters.
Workaround: To use an optional prompt in the filter, make a business filter instead of a native filter. In this case, the optional prompt will be removed when it is skipped.
