Stability Studies in SAP

I have been told that sap supports stability studies as adding that module
in the system

What is the purpose of stability studies?

Hi,
Stability studies carried out to find out shelf life of product
over different storage/temperature/pH like conditions, generally
pharmaceutical companies do that, for detail information read sap help
documents.
