Storage location indicator for a particular material can be viewed in MRP 4 view of MM data,it can also be viewed in MMSC t-code. Basically the storage location MRP indicator helps to plan the material with respect to the storage location stock.
IF the indicator is not selected the storage location stock will be planned at plant level during MRP run. IF it is selected as 1 then storage location stock will be excluded during MRP run, this helps if the material is under kanban system & storge location will be KN01.If the indicator is set to 2, then the material will be planned separately with respect to the storage location.
