Add Path in AL11 to Windows Share

Hello,

I need to add a path in my sap system AL11 to a remote windows share say //<ip>/<sharename>. My sap system is on Unix.
So should I need to create the same sidadm user in the remote windows machine too?

    In every path at AL11, you will find it at RZ11 also. So, please add the path at Profile parameter level using RZ10.

    Hi, What about the user?, which user sap will use to access the remote
    directory? Is it "sidadm" since my sap system is on Unix?

    Go AL11, there is a button called configure. Click there and add an alias entry for path

    My SAP system is on Unix and the remote share is in Windows.
    So I wanted to know if I create the same sidadm user in remote windows share, will I be able to access the path from my SAP system AL11.

    But how the windows server will recognize the user adm which is in Unix?
    Do I need to create the same Unix OS user adm in Windows server also?
