How to check the SAP Version using SAP System?

Check SAP Version from System Status window

1. To check SAP Version, from the top navigation menu click on System >> Status

System: Status window will open

2. Now click on the Other Kernel Information icon at the bottom right of the screen or press Shift + F5

In this window, you can find

  1. Kernel Information
  2. Database Information
  3. System Information

Using T-Code SM51

1. Run T-Code SM51

SAP Instance Information window will open

2. Now click on Release Note Button from top navigation or Press Ctrl+Shif+F11 

SAP Release Information window will open

Kernel Information Window

In this window, you will find all information related to SAP system including their patch levels

    Hi

    This is Vijay goto menu bar after login into the client then click on status.

    There you can find the VERSION, What is the DB, patch Levels and Kernel version also.

    After SAP Login
    Go to System -> Status
    Here under SAP_SYSTEM_DATA check the Component Version.

    GO TO- > System in the menu bar -> Click Status ->Click Component Icon on the SAP System Data Tab... You will see new screen with Two Tab.   Click Installed Product Version Tab. Here you can see SAP ERP versiona dn EPH version and SAP Netweaver version also.

    SAP version means checking the level or kernel you can check it by 3 ways ,2 bay r/3 level and one from os level r/3 level procedure:

    1. Execute tcode sm51 you will find realease note click there you will find details. 
    2. From any log on screen got to systems/status/navigate key you will find details and from OS level cmd prompt disp+work.

    To find out the SAP version, after login to SAP system in the main menu, goto System------>status, one pop up window comes, find the MAGNIFIER in System data/ Component version, and press on it.

    To find out the SAP version in any system u can go SE16>SVERS or SWFEATURES, then u can find out .
